SCHOOL PRAYERS

Morning Prayer

Lord make me an instrument of your peace,

Where there is hatred, Let me show love,

Where there is injury, Pardon

Where there is doubt, Faith

Where there is despair, Hope

Where is darkness, Light

Where there is sadness, Joy

Oh divine master, grant that I may seek not so much

To be consoled as to console, to be loved as to love

To be understood as to be understand

For it is pardoning that we are pardoned,

In giving that we receive and in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen.

Before Lunch Prayer

Lord in a world where so many are hungry,

May we eat this food with humble hearts.

We give thanks for the food, prepared by loving hands.

We give thanks for life,

The freedom to enjoy it all, and all together blessings.

Amen.

Dismissal Prayer

Lord now the day is over

We lift our hands and say

We are so grateful for all the things we have learnt today

Be with us now as we journey home

Keep us safe and watch over us we pray.

Amen.

SCHOOL’S SONG

A place where peace and love prevails

Though patience often fails,

Where unity is manifest

And hatred laid to rest.

T’s here where I’m prepared to be

A citizen so true

To work with my community

A nation strong to build

This school of minds of students trained

Deep things to contemplate

The hands to labour and to toil

With skills appropriate

God bless the students of this school,

The head and teachers too

Give them the wisdom from above,

Love for the job they do

Chorus;

This is my school, a treasured place

For boys and girls of every race

I love my school, T’ will always be

A treasured place for me
